The everyday work
Most of what an accounting firm does is not dramatic. Books get reconciled every month. Payroll runs every other Friday. Quarterly deposits go in on time. Returns are filed in April, or extended and filed in October, with the planning conversation held in November before it is too late to change anything. Done well, none of it makes the news, and that is the point: the business owner gets to spend the time on the business.
Since 1997 we have done this work for restaurants, trucking companies, construction crews, cleaning services, salons, clinics, landscapers, real estate investors and hundreds of families across North Carolina. Choose the service you need below, or book a consultation and we will tell you which ones you actually need.

A notice, a lien, a levy, a garnished paycheck or several years of unfiled returns is a different kind of problem, and it gets a different kind of team. Tax Pitbull is our tax resolution division: we pull your IRS transcripts, tell you exactly where you stand, and represent you so the IRS deals with us rather than with you. Because IRS representation is federal, we take resolution cases from any state.

How an engagement starts
Every engagement begins with a consultation, in person at our Matthews office or by phone or video. We look at where the business is, what has been filed and what has not, and what you are trying to do next year. You leave with a written scope and a fixed price for the work. Ongoing services like bookkeeping and payroll are billed monthly; tax preparation is quoted per return; advisory work is scoped per project.
