Albert F. Latorre
President and Founder
Founded the firm in Charlotte in 1997 and has led it for more than 25 years. Provides comprehensive accounting and tax services, business advisory and CFO-level consulting, and leads the Tax Pitbull resolution division.
Carlos J. Nava
Director of Market and Business Development
Leads business development and client relations for Latorre & Company, including the firm’s outreach to the Hispanic business community.
A team of about thirty, in one office
Behind the leadership is a staff of accountants, bookkeepers, payroll specialists, tax preparers and resolution case managers, based at our Matthews office and all of them working in Spanish and English. Together the resolution team brings nearly 60 years of combined experience in finance, corporate tax and audits.
Every client has a named accountant who knows their file. When you call, you are not routed to whoever is free; you reach the person who prepared your return or is handling your IRS case, or someone on their team who can see exactly where things stand.
New team members are trained in both languages, with the resolution division’s case files as the textbook. It is why a bookkeeper here knows what a 941 problem looks like before it becomes one, and why a preparer knows which line on a return draws a notice.
